I like progressive-rock, Gothic Literature, Universal and Hammer Horror films, stout ale, red wine, and bacon. In the 1990’s I fronted several rock bands, most notably with the eclectic Boston band, the Dark Young. I write Gothic poetry as well as short stories in the dark fantasy genre, and have a collection of obscure reference books on unmentionable topics. My spiritual mentor is Edgar Allan Poe and I am also a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft. I have a bleeding heart, a dry wit, and don’t act my age. If you want to know anything else about me just ask.

  1. That voice! Perfect for the reading of dark things…

  2. Mr. Arenas,

Pickman’s Press is putting together an anthology of Averoigne tribute stories written by other authors since Clark Ashton Smith passed away. “The Fell Fete” is an excellent candidate, and we’d like to include it. Is the story available for reprint? We’re currently offering a two cent per word reprint rate. If you’re interested (and I hope you are!), please email me.
